Look Who Crashed the Party!!!

Today over on Mabelle's Facebook page (and for the next 2 days) she is offering this FREEBIE ... well not this whole freebie ... just the pumpkins and acorns!  ... But this squirrel, one of my absolute favorites by Mabelle crashed the PARTY!!!  LOL!

The "Happy Fall" sentiment and the extra leaves along the bottom are from Mabelle's Happy Fall set by TAC.

I colored them with my copics and popped the squirrel.  I added blue ink sponged for the sky and added a punched circle sun.  I wanted to add a little bling too, so I did that under the sentiment.

Cupcakes!!!

Don't You just LOVE cupcakes??

I do ... and I especially LOVE Mabelle's cupcakes!

I made this card with cupcake images from the digi called Set of 2 Sweet Cupcakes ... I colored them all the same with copics and then punched them out.  I mounted them on brown and then popped the center tag that was stamped with a TAC Tag Tidbits sentiment and added a pink bow.  Looks yummy to me!

Post-It Note Holder

So I had a few of these posit-it note holders hanging around.  I had made them as gifts a few months back.. This one didn't have a main image on it yet ... So I chose to add Bakster.

I made these note holders using my Scor-Pal and corner rounders.  Soooo easy.

Hey Chick!!!

I love this clean and simple card!

I used the new image called 3 Birds in a Row by Just Some Lines.

After I printed the image out on the white cardstock, I aligned it to the left side leaving a lot of white space to the left.  Then I found this perfect sentiment "Friendship - that means you chick" ... see I call a lot of my girl friends "chick" ... so that's why this card is just perfect for me!

I colored these "chicks" with my copics and then I matted them on black and then yellow cardstock.

This image is from Whimsy and Stars Studio called Wedding Girl.

She is sooo precious!  I colored her with copics and then cut her out.  I popped her on a silver die cut nestie and then added liquid pearl dots to the outer edge.  I mounted that on pink, white, and more silver.

The sentiment is from TAC and is also popped using fun foam.

Well I guess it's not quite that time ... but it's never to early to get a jump start on Christmas cards!

Here's a fun and quick card that I made using Christmas Robin in a Wreath from Just Some Lines.

I colored it with my copics and die cut out the wreath with a Circle Nestie.  I matted that on a Scalloped Circle Nestie and then popped that image with fun foam.  I added some white dots to the scallop with my white gel pen.  I added some festive patterned paper and a sentiment from TAC.

Here is a close up on the card ... you can see the details a little better.

Published - TWICE!!!

Every now and then I send a few cards in to the publications in hopes that they get published.  It always is a surprise when they finally do because it can be 1 to 2 years later and I have completely forgotten about those cards.

When I returned from vacation I had these 2 magazines in my mailbox ... published in BOTH!!!

Ballerina Fairy

Don't you just love this image by Mabelle! She's called Ballerina Teddy. I colored her with my copics and cut her out with my Nesties. I popped her up with fun foam and added a ribbon/bow ... and of course BLING! The sentiment is just perfect and it is from a set by Mabelle over at TAC.

Homeward Bound

Our family has spent a wonderful last 12 days together in Washington DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. The trip was fun, educational, and full of baseball games!

Every year my son and husband take a baseball trip and visit a few ball parks ... this year they wanted to go out east and I wanted to go with them!
We did so many fun things ... everyday we had 1-3 activities planned out!

Some of the highlights were the White House tour, Arlington National Cemetery, Max's Tavern in Baltimore, the Liberty Bell, and seeing Ozzie Guillen (manager of the Chicago White Sox).

Don't worry I took a few stamps and images to color with me ... just need to assemble them into cards and post them!!!

Summertime

As summer is starting to wind down and we are heading back to soon shortly I thought that I better post this card ...

I love this flamingo drawn by Jehanne over at Just Some Lines. It is called Funky Summer Flamingos.

I colored her with my copics and added some bling and a sentiment by TAC. I sponged in the sky too.

Hello Winter

Well it's not winter yet, but in some ways I wish it was ... it has been so hot around here.

(I know I will not be wishing this in January)

So to cool things off I created this wonderful card using Just Some Lines digital image called Ppppenguin from Our Home to Yours.

To start off, I first printed the design on regular copy paper.

Then I covered that with my blue cardstock piece and printed on that.

Here is my piece ... ready to get started ....

I cut out the back of the igloo with scissors.

I printed out the Penguin again on white cardstock.

I colored this penguin with my copic markers and cut him out.

I glued him to the blue cardstock and then also colored some of the ice bricks with my copics to give them dimension.

I cut a square of vellum which I will use for the background/window.

I glued the square of vellum onto the card and added a square frame to it to sandwich it.

Here is the card again with the sentiment and snowflake added ... I just love this look of a little window in a card.

Hello Friend

I just adore this image from Just Some Lines ... it's so sweet and very fun to color!
(as all of their images are!)

She is called Gab1 and I colored her with my copics. I added some scrapper's floss and a frame and some bling. The sentiment and frame stamp are from TAC.
