Crib Notes

I love pink brown and white together for a baby card.

I needed a card for my friend Amanda who just had a baby girl (well about 1 month ago) ... anyway I made this card for her with a retired Stampin Up set that i have always loved. I made the background paper by stamping the image multiple times randomly and masking off the words.

She really liked it and I liked it too! I made a cute tag on the bag that I gave her gift in that matched as well! the packaging was definitely as cute if not cuter than the gift!

I am submitting this as part of a challenge on Charisma Cardz - which this week's challenge was babies .. how perfect!

ENJOY!

Turkeys Published

Volume 19

The new edition of Just Cards is out and I had one TAC card and one non-TAC card published in it!!! Yea! So did Kim :)

Hey You Turkeys!

This card was made with a stamp by Stamp it Crazy. I love these turkeys! The sentiment is from TAC. I colored them with copics, used a nestability, pop-dotted the sentiment, and added a ribbon!

Make sure to visit Stmap it Crazy's site linked above ... she's got some great stamps!
Especially for Halloween coming up!

Fintastic Day

Fishies!

I needed to make a card for a friend at work that really likes exotic fish. I did not have the exact types of fish but I thought these from Ippity would do the trick.

The Fintastic word was from the Ippity set Fishy Philosophy and I paired it with "Wishing You" old retired TAC set for the full sentiment.

I used another retired set from TAC - Under the Sea for the sand and green seaweed. The taller plants are from Ippity.

I sponged the bottom brown and I sponged the top blue.

I colored the fish with my copic markers and then pop-dotted them at different heights.

I really love how this card turned out and hope the fish-lover will love it as well!

ENJOY!

Happy Birthday

I made this card a month ago for my friend Barb who owns Stamp it Crazy.

I used one of her recent dragon stamps and colored him with copics. I pop-gotted the sentiment and added some brads. I sponged the edges and used some Basic Grey paper. I think he is adorable!

Funny thing is that Barb and I share the same birthday and so in honor of that coincidence I sent her a card ... she was hosting a blog give away that weekend and I even meant to enter THIS card into it ... well almost one month later here it is .. LOL!

Barb can I still win???!!! LOL!

Enjoy!

Just wanted to apologize for not putting anything on this site in a while ...

I have been very active with TAC the past several months and fell behind on items here ...

The good thing is that I have quite a few things to share here, over the next couple of days!

ENJOY! and thanks for following me!
Published!

I sent in some Halloween cards a few months back and used a stamp from my friend Barb's company (StampItCrazy). It was very appropriate as she mostly has Halloween and ghoul images.

Spooky Good

I love these guys! They are actually pop-dotted on the card for an added effect. I colored them with copics and added ribbon, gems, and a sentiment from TAC.

Enjoy!

Sympathy

Today is going to be a tough day. I am attending my boss's funeral in just a few hours.

Here is another card that I made for my co-workers to sign:

Grief

This main sentiment is from Inky Antics. I added some chalk to a few of the words and then added these sweet dragonflies (which have been on all of my sympathy cards) from TAC's set Garden Joy and colored with Stardust Glitter pens I added the patterned paper and the ribbon.

Cute, easy, and simple.

Rest in peace my friend, my mentor, and my co-worker Tracy .... you will be missed!

Inky Antics Cards

So my friend Jackie Lewis over at Inky Antics gave me an opportunity to create a few cards for her. Here are a few of the ones that I have made so far.
You can see them over on the Inky Antic Blog and find all of the details.
These were so fun and easy to make and what a great way to take 1 or 2 sets and make so many versatile cards out of it.
ENJOY!

Full Moon

Spooky Good

This wonderful stamp is from Stamp it Crazy and I stamped it on yellow and then stamped it again on white and colored these fun guys. I then pop-dotted them in front of the moon for a 3D effect. Added the sentiment from TAC Spooktacular. Added a few gems and ribbon and then sponged all of the edges. Viola!

Sending a Latte .....

Latte

I have been making my friend from work some thank you cards for her mom. She then wanted this same one as "sending a latte prayers" ... for get well/sympathy.

So I used the sentiment from TAC (the rest is inside the card) and the cute latte cup from Inky Antics. The coffee beans are by Impression Obsession.

Enjoy ..... a latte!

Howdy Partner!

Saddle Up Cowboy

I got these adorable cowboys from Stamp It Crazy this weekend. I colored them with my copics and added the patterned paper and sentiment. I decided to use scrappers floss around the sentiment to look like a lasso. I pop-dotted the sentiment for an added effect and viola!

Spooky Greetings

Bride of Frankenstein

For this first project on my new website I used the Bride of Frankenstien created by Stamp It Crazy. The sentiment is from a retired TAC set called Halloween Greetings. I used the Martha Stewart spider web edge punch and added gems and ribbon to finish off the card. I think it turned out great!

I met Barb (creator and owner of Stamp it Crazy) at a local stamp show this weekend. She was there with her sisiter and her mom.

They have some wonderful stamps!

You can see pictures of their weekend here ... and I even appear in their pictures :)
